Since 2003, Maipu has begun to get in Nepal banking industry market by cooperating with Prism International Pvt. Ltd. After continuous development of these years, Maipu products have already been widely used in more than 20 Nepal banks. Besides the success in Nepal banking industry, Maipu also gets many successful experiences in telecom market. Since 2003, Maipu MUX, VoIP and Routers have been widely used in Nepal Telecom, Smartel and STM. In 2010, Maipu cooperated with Websurfer, one of ISP in Nepal, built the nationwide VPLS Backbone network for their enterprise FTTB services. Up to now, there are more than 5,000 Maipu devices, including more than 1000 routers running in bank, telecom, ISP and government in Nepal.

On August 26, 2011, Maipu and Prism, Maipu's authorized distributor, jointly hold a Maipu Global Seminar in Kathmandu. In this event, there are nearly 100 guests participated, who are mainly from banks, telecoms, and SME clients. Many guests showed great interests on Maipu networking solutions, such as Metro-E solution, 3G solution and IPPBX solution, which we showed in the event.

Especially 3G solution, not only the participants, media also give the enormous attention to it. As we know, 3G application is in the initial development in Nepal. Maipu "secure and handy"3G solution can easily help Nepal customers to reduce costs and speed up the pace of network deployment.
