• MP9710 Multi-service Access Platform

  • MP9710 multi-service leased line access platform is designed and developed by Maipu Communication supports ATM, FR (frame-relay), transparent 2M and Ethernet leased line.

    It extends powerful service access capability, and provides abundant access methods from copper wire to fiber. MP9710 provides 155M ATM interface, 155M SDH interface, supports FR local switch and network and service connection between FR and ATM, kinds of access methods from XDSL to PDH.

    PDH fiber smartly accesses to SDH network, which can fully satisfy finance customer leased line access requirement. MP9710 fully considers the present network environment of operators, so it is ideal choice for high quality leased line access network construction of telecom operators.

    Typical Application

    SDH-based PDH Access

    The SDH transmission network is the basic network of operators. The network overlay is wide and the transmission resource is rich with years of construction. With the development of data service, the user has more and more higher requirement on bandwidth and access mode, and the competition among operators is more and more ardent, so it is the fastest and simplest method to transmit data using SDH.

    In this solution, MP9400/MP9710/FT160B provides two network modes:

    The 2M E1 and PDH optical interface of MP9400 and MP9710 provide PDH access and MP9710 access to SDH via 155M optical interfaces. We deploy MP9400/MP9710 in the center of the network and FT160B at customer end.

    This kind of network solution is suitable for large amount of user access and medium-small office network management application. MP9710 provides large capability PDH access and access to SDH via 155M optical interface, FT160 provides multi-service. This kind of network solution is suitable for backbone access user and high-speed multi-service application.

    Powerful network and management capability: According to customer requirement, we can uplink the network via 155M optical interface of MP9710 or 2M E1 of MP9400. MP9710 aggregates service on 155M-link aggregation to avoid opening many E1 interfaces from SDH network.

    This network has saved operators investment and extended SDH network service. PDH card on MP9710 and MP9400 uses together with fiber transceiver to realize the management of customer end, and it is easy to maintain.

    Convenient power supply and high density access: MP9400/MP9710 adopts multi-optical interface PDH card combined with fiber transceiver to save the space and improve access port density, and it is much cheaper than point-to-point fiber transceiver connection mode.

    Fiber transceiver provides multi-service access: Fiber transceiver FT160B provides smart combination of E1, Ethernet and V.35 interfaces to save the investment of interface transceiver. It realizes the management and maintenance of different service.

    Optical/electric Interface Bridge for Ethernet Access

    Besides PDH access, MP9400/MP9710 provides net bridge to realize Ethernet access.

    MP9400 provides 4-port bridge card to realize Ethernet access; MP9710 provides 4-port electric /optical bridge card to satisfy customer different requirements.

    In city-level equipment room, we deploy MP9710 and FT160 or FT160B at customer end. The service data from PDH comes out from bridge card and then aggregates here. This kind of solution is suitable for 155M-backbone network with many customer accesses and high-speed service access.

    We deploy MP9710 in county-level equipment room. MP9710 can access switches via optical interface, and no need to use PDH card and fiber transceiver. This kind of solution is suitable for those who needs the direct Ethernet service.

    It gives customer more choice. According to the requirement of customer, it can use optical bridge card to access downlink switches to provide Ethernet access without PDH card and desktop fiber transceiver.

    MP9710 connects to the downlink switches via optical bridge card, and it is suitable to the operators owning abundant optical interface resource. MP9710 has powerful network management ability, which is easy to maintain. It also can improve operating rate of fiber accessing to network.
