Ms Mbete, South African National Assembly Speaker, led a delegation of members of various political parties in South Africa to visit Maipu on September 29, 2006.

 

He talked with Mr. Hua Xin, Chairman of Maipu, about how to enhance the cooperation between the South African economic groups and Chinese enterprises such as Maipu. During three-day visit to Sichuan, Ms. Mbete visited only one Chinese enterprise, that is, Maipu.
