• Liu Qibao Attending Maipu Signing Ceremony with Sri Lanka Companies

  • Encouraging Sichuan enterprises to explore International markets

     

    Recently, Liu Qibao, Sichuan Provincial Party Committee Secretary, visiting Sri Lanka, and Yang Xiuping, Chinese ambassador to Sri Lanka, attend the signing ceremony of the cooperation projects between Maipu Communication Technology Co., Ltd and Sri Lanka Telecom, Tata Communication Lanka Ltd, held in Colombo.

    Maipu located in Chengdu was founded in 1993. It is the mainstream network solution provider in China, providing the switch, router, VoIP collaboration communication, information security and integrated access network devices with the IP technology as the core for customers. With 16-year development, Maipu occupies one place in China and its network products and solutions are widely applied in more than 30 countries and areas, such as Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Russia, and Poland. It is the mainstream brand of the industry network construction in Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Russian markets.

     

    Since Maipu entered the Sri Lanka in 2006, the cost-effective and high-stability products and good services have been winning the approval of Sri Lanka customers. In 2008, Sri Lankan Prime Minister visiting China, expressed the appreciation for the convenience and happiness brought by Maipu to Sri Lankan people, as well as the wish of the deeper and wider cooperation in the future.

     

    The cooperation between Maipu and Sri Lanka Telecom, TataLanka will promote the business development of Maipu in Sri Lanka greatly and lay a good foundation for the further development of Sichuan enterprises in Sri Lanka.

    The signing ceremony of the cooperation projects is held just when Mr. Liu Qibao leads the CPC delegation to visit Sri Lanka. Mr. Liu says that Sichuan will implement the open cooperation strategy, support and promote more Sichuan enterprises with economy, science and technology power to explore the international markets and invest in Sri Lanka.
