In Moscow, Maipu Seminar 2010 with the vision of "New World, New Choice" discovers its opening show, along with the announcement by Max Wang, the general manager of CIS Region. The seminar is held in the exhibition "SvyazEkspokom" in Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya, and many experts from Russian communication industry, System Integrators attend the seminar. Mr. Max Wang charges the seminar and shows Maipu's vision on the trend and Maipu strategy in Russian market. In 2009, the financial crisis has been affecting most of countries worldwide, but Maipu got a revenue increase of 45% from 180 million USD in 2008 to 260 million USD in 2009.

"Maipu has been investing persistently in Russian market since year 2007, and currently has got all necessary certifications, declaration, and GOST according to Russian law.", said Max Wang, "in 2010, we  keep investing in the market in 2 parts. Firstly, we remove all  cryptography models from our CPE routers to follow  Russian regulation, and all customers can get the service by Maipu equipment without any security problem. Secondly, in order to satisfy the customer request, Maipu is organizing Maipu Technical Center Moscow (MTCM) with our joint Venture partner, Radio Technical Center, the sophisticated service provider in Russia". Meanwhile Max Wang also told that MTCM would provide the service to end customers and partners as Remote service (Hotline by telephone, Email, ICQ in 7 X 24 hours), Installation service, Test & tryout service, RMA (return material authorization) center and Training center, etc. Mr. Alexander Shevchenko , CTO of MTCM,  a Russian native speaker and  expert of Maipu equipment, has got MPNE(Maipu Network Engineer) certification from Maipu certificating system.

With strong assistance from its partners, Maipu has passed the sophisticated testing from Telecom Providers, such as Uralsvyazinform (Svyazinform group), etc.
