From March 15 to 17, 2017, the three-day India Smart Urbanation Convention and Expo 2017, themed with “Mission Execution”, was held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. 

As the head of Sichuan Economic & Trade Delegation , Mr. Jack Wang, VP of Maipu Communication，joined the lighting ceremony with both Chinese and Indian government official. He introduced Sichuan delegation members to all participates and said,” The economic and trade cooperation between China and India has been developing rapidly for the last decade. Such cooperation will continue for next and even more decades. Hereby, on behalf of the delegation, which is composed of 9 companies from ICT, electronics, building materials and water machinery industries in China, I would like to express our sincere cooperativeness and support to help India build its smart cities.”

During the 3-day event period, Sichuan pavilion attracted lots of Indian visitors, who are eager to cooperate with Chinese companies in their smart city projects. On the other hand, the delegation members also learnt a lot about Indian smart city developing status from the presentations taken by representatives from different local smart city governments in India. Attendees from both countries felt, such face-to-face communication and exchange of views largely enhanced the mutual understanding of each other in technology and market cooperation.
