Maipu STR880-4S is a brand new 5G M2M router, applicable to the data transmission service under the environment that goes against the wired network. It adopts the 5G high-speed wireless network as the data-bearing network to provide a safe and high-speed wireless connection for customers. No matter where you are, your device can use the 5G network to connect Internet or enterprise private network. STR880-4S 5G M2M Router meets the requirements of enterprise/SMB/industrial users. The STR880-4S provides high-speed wireless network access. It uses a built-in 5G module that shares the 5G network provided by your local mobile operator, allowing your device to connect to high-speed Internet or a private corporate network.
The STR880-4S has rich VPN functions and can be connected to a secure private channel of the enterprise based on the 5G network. Meanwhile, the device data can be transmitted in the secure IPsec/GRE/L2TP/OpenVPN VPN tunnel, preventing the data from being accessed and tampered and providing the higher security for the application over Internet.
STR880-4S supports one 5G modem and two SIM cards from different mobile operators. The two SIM cards can work in the active-standby mode. If one of the 5G links is working unstably, STR880-4S will try to dial through the other SIM card.
STR880-4S offers a comprehensive 5G SA/NSA solution for the industrial application over the 5G mobile network, it can be managed by the Maipu M2M cloud management platform(IOM), and the customer can remotely configure and monitor the router through this platform. This will greatly decrease the OPEX and increase the working efficiency.
STR880-4S supports the latest Wi-Fi6 wireless technology at 160MHz channels, which can be used in a branch office environment. WiFi6 standard offers faster data transmission speed, and the maximum potential speed should be up to 40% higher than Wi-Fi5 because of more efficient data encoding, resulting in higher throughput.
